ABOUT AVERY ENTERPRISES
Avery Enterprises is a writing firm begun in 2001 to serve 4 distinct groups:
1) Inventors and small companies who need to patent inventions.
2) Companies that need highly technical writing, or writing beyond what the typical "tech writer" (who once took 2 science classes) can provide. In many cases, this fits together with patent protection, as highly technical documentation is needed to obtain a patent.
3) Schools that want the best in academic competition (often called quiz bowl) for their students.
4) Organizations that need educational assessment of their students (typically involving a standardized test of some sort).
Avery Enterprises President Bryce Avery has an MS in engineering from California State Polytechnic University (Pomona), is a licensed Professional Engineer in Maryland, and is a registered Patent Agent with the U.S. Patent Office. Before he opened Avery Enterprises, he spent more than a decade as a technical writer and test engineer with the U.S. Navy (both civil service and contractor).
In his college days, he was captain of his "College Bowl" team as both an undergraduate and graduate student.
