Avery Enterprises is a writing firm begun in 2001 to serve 4 distinct groups:

1) Inventors and small companies who need to patent inventions.

2) Companies that need technical writing, or writing beyond what the typical “tech writer” (who once took 2 science classes) can provide. In many cases, this fits together with a patent application, as highly technical documentation is needed to obtain a patent.

3) Schools that want the best in quiz bowl for their students.

4) Organizations that need assessment of their students (typically involving an academic competition for their gifted/talented students or a standardized test of some sort for all students).

Avery Enterprises President Bryce Avery has an MS in engineering from California State Polytechnic University (Pomona), is a licensed Professional Engineer in Maryland, and is a registered Patent Agent with the U.S. Patent Office. Before opening Avery Enterprises, he spent more than a decade as a civilian technical writer and test engineer with the U.S. Navy.

In his college days, he was captain of his “College Bowl” team as both an undergraduate and graduate student.
