Tutoring

Avery Enterprises generally tutors students on the south side of the Denver, Colorado metro area (Littleton, Centennial, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, etc.)

Though we tutor from elementary school through community college, we have three specialties.

Our first tutoring specialty is phonics and reading skills. Students taught by our tutors on a long-term basis all read far above grade level and include one participant in the National Spelling Bee and two more in the Colorado State Spelling Bee.

Our second tutoring specialty is K-12 math and science. Our math/science tutor has taught math at UNC in Greeley, has passed the exams to teach both math and science in Colorado public schools, and can even tutor adults in calculus and differential equations.

Most students make about a year’s worth of math or reading progress in about 12 hours with our tutors.

Our third tutoring specialty is music, especially piano and flute. We also provide musical accompaniment for both rehearsal and performance ! Students taught by our tutors on a long-term basis all play multiple instruments.

We even provide foreign language lessons in English (ESL), Spanish, and German. Hourly rates for all of these vary by subject, amount of tutoring desired, and location.

If your child is behind in school, we can assess the problem, solve it in a few hours, and then suggest ways for students to make it on their own.
